Charleston's Picnic People
We're Grant and Anna, and Pic Unique started the way most good things do — by accident, and because we couldn't help ourselves.
We were always the ones who loved throwing the party. The friends who turned up early to set the table, who fussed over the napkins and the flowers and where the light would fall at five o'clock. Somewhere between birthdays and proposals and long afternoons in the grass, we realized the thing we loved doing for the people closest to us was something we could do for everyone.
What we actually do
We design, deliver, set up, style and pack down picnics and celebrations across Charleston, Summerville and the surrounding Lowcountry.
That means everything physical about your event is ours to worry about. The low table and the linens. The cushions and the rugs. Umbrellas for the sun, and lanterns for when it goes. Place settings, glassware, florals, signage, and the small details most people never notice until they're missing.
We arrive before your guests, set the whole thing up, and disappear. When it's over, we come back and take it all away. You don't wash a single plate.
Where we set up
Beaches, parks, backyards, riverfronts, private venues, rooftops — anywhere in and around Charleston and Summerville we can reasonably carry a table to. If you have somewhere in mind and you're not sure it'll work, ask us. We've usually done it, and if we haven't we'll tell you honestly.
What we're for
Proposals and engagements. Birthdays, for four-year-olds and forty-year-olds alike. Anniversaries. Date nights that deserve more than a restaurant. Bridal and baby showers. Family gatherings when everyone's finally in the same place at the same time.
Picnics for two, right up to groups of thirty.
Why people book us
Because hosting is exhausting, and the person doing the hosting rarely gets to enjoy the thing they made.
We take that part away. You bring the people and the occasion. We bring everything else, and then we get out of the way so you can actually be there for it.

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Saturday–Sunday, 12:00pm–5:00pm
How far ahead to book
About a week for picnics of six guests or fewer. Larger groups and anything with custom styling need more notice — especially in spring and autumn, and during proposal season from November through February.
Groups of seven to thirty get a free planning call.
What happens next
You tell us what you're celebrating. We suggest a setup and a location if you don't have one. You confirm, we handle the rest, and on the day you just turn up.
