Kids' Birthday Picnic Parties in Charleston & Summerville
The problem with throwing your child a birthday party is that you don't get to be at it. You're refilling cups and finding someone's shoe and taking the cake out at the wrong moment.
We set up styled outdoor birthday picnics across Charleston and Summerville so you can put your phone down and watch your kid have the day.
What it looks like
Low tables at child height with floor cushions and rugs — which children like far more than chairs, and which photograph beautifully. Styled to a colour scheme or a theme. Place settings, signage, and the details that make it feel considered rather than thrown together.
Add giant Jenga, a ball pit, a bubble machine, a teepee or tent, cupcakes and sweet treats, or a charcuterie board for the adults standing at the edge.
We set up before anyone arrives, and come back afterwards to take it all away.
Where
Backyards are usually best for children's parties — no parking, no time limit, and a bathroom nearby, which matters more than anyone admits. We also set up in parks and green spaces across Charleston and Summerville, and check any permissions needed.
Sizes and what it costs
Our picnic tiers cover four guests and six guests, with larger groups quoted individually. We can set up for groups of up to thirty.

Practical things worth knowing
Time of day. For younger children, late morning beats afternoon — before naps, before meltdowns. In summer, avoid the middle of the day entirely.
Book about a week ahead for six guests or fewer. Longer for bigger parties, and longer again in spring and autumn when the weather is at its best and everyone else has the same idea.
Have a rain plan. We'll help you think it through beforehand.
Grass over sand for small children. Easier to walk on, easier to sit on, much easier to clean up.
